Collection of personal data
Visiting this website for information purposes is possible without providing personal data. However, log data is automatically transmitted to the hosting provider of the Foundation's website and stored in server log files. These are deleted within two months.
The data collected via the homepage includes the time and date of access, name and URL (address of the accessing website), the operating system and versions used by the accessing system, browser types and versions used, status and amount of data at the time of transmission, as well as the IP address of the requesting system or website from which the access to the Foundation's website came, and other similar data and information used to avert danger in the event of attacks on our information technology systems. IP addresses are only stored for the purpose of preventing or documenting misuse. The Manfred-Hermsen-Stiftung does not use the transmitted IP addresses itself, nor does it pass them on to third parties. The Foundation is only interested in user-independent statistics. Use of personal data
By contacting the Manfred-Hermsen-Stiftung (proposals, requests, applications, etc.) you automatically agree that the Foundation may use your data for the fulfilment of its purpose. Personal data in correspondence with the Foundation will be handled as follows:
  • All data remain stored for the duration of the conversation (e-mails, notes, letters) and are deleted at the latest one year later, unless otherwise requested by the person / organization concerned. This data includes all inquiries such as applications for volunteer services or for a job advertisement, offers of any kind.

    Exceptions are data in connection with the promotion of projects, cooperations, etc. that concern the business operations of the Foundation:
  • These are stored at least for the duration of their processing time (as a rule up to 3 months) and afterwards as long as it appears operationally necessary, at least for the duration of the legal archiving obligations.
